Thanks to the reviewers who have read multiple books by Esther and Jerry Hicks that feature Abraham, who mentioned that this is the one book they would recommend to people above all the other ones. I've studied Intention and the power of our thoughts to control our own destiny through different books and courses in the past, but this book really brought it all home to me in ways everything else I had studied really didn't do. This book is so powerful in teaching why every single thought we have is important, how it guides us towards a destiny, and how important it is for us to learn how to think and feel in alignment with what we really, really want to experience in our lives. When reading this book I realized how I had gotten off track in doing this myself, and how this had been negatively impacting my life. In addition, I was able to look at the people in my life and see how the successful ones live their life in alignment with what's recommended in this book, and how those who have been struggling haven't been doing this. As a direct result of all this, I am now watching my thoughts and feelings, redirecting the negative ones into positive, much more empowering ones, and I feel I'm on track once again to living the life that I've really imagined.
I have read a number of books over the years regarding the Law of Attraction and the process of manifesting one's desires. This audio set does a phenomenal job in providing the context and content to help the reader change their point of attraction in terms of money, health, and relationships. Like anything, this is a process and the best way to get results is to approach it with a playful attitude. Some people have accused Esther and Jerry Hicks of teaching selfishness. Well, for one thing, there is a difference between being selfish vs Self-ish. Secondly, if one doesn't attend to their own vibrations, they are NO good to the world anyway. So, the best way to 'give back' is to get aligned with your own Well Being aka Source energy.Listening to this audio set is part of my weekly personal development plan. I listen to it in the car all of the time instead of listening to the radio and it has helped me tremendously in my ability to focus. I've also bought copies of the audio set for people in my network because I believe so much in the material.Therefore, I highly recommend you add this book to your library.
This book is so straightforward about how the law of attraction works and how money is part of our definition of freedom. I appreciate the explanation of how Abraham is channeled through Esther Hicks, and it's a beautiful way of learning.I would say about 1/3 of my kindle book is highlighted. There are so many amazing AHA teachings and already my reality is shifting because of this book. I'm excited to report back in a few months of how elevated my life has become. I read this with my 2 accountability partners and we all felt the same vibrational alignment to business and relationship goals.This book is recommended for (from me) the person that wants to know how the law of attraction can work for them, why they can't seem to get what they want, and how they can receive the inheritance they deserve. If you have a belief that "money is the root of evil" or that it's bad to want money, read this book. It will help you understand why money is important and how our life is elevated with it while not depending solely on it.High vibes are the secret to getting exactly what you want!
I own this and Ask and It Is Given. I have to say these books have changed my life and am already rereading them. I like the kindle versions because I can add bookmarks, which are nearly every page. I always thought I had a good attitude in life but felt that I was not breaking past a certain point. These books helped me realize that I was not allowing the things I wanted to manifest. As soon as I changed this pattern of thought, it was like flipping the light switch on. This book is not only about money, I feel the title is a marketing ploy, the middle section is about health and the end is about career. I just got through cancer and was told by some friends that I had somehow brought it on myself. I've never felt good about believing that people can invite illness, tragedy, even death. After reading sections of this book, I can see the point of view, I'm not totally convinced but I'm more open to understanding. In general, these books do offer a perspective that is wise and grounded in common sense. That's why I like them. They're not asking you to believe or have faith in things that quite honestly don't make sense. All I know is I feel good and great things are happening in my life.
This book is not only about money, it is about health, career, etc. It teaches us that it is easier to monitor our feelings than it is our thoughts as we all have an inbuilt Emotional Guidance System that uses our negative feelings to alert us that we are working against our own best self-interests, while our positive feelings indicate that we are aligned with our Inner Being and are vibrationally creating good things. We have to make the present moment as joyful as possible in order to create a better future for ourselves. I wholeheartedly recommend this book. Abraham is definitely one of my favorite teachers.
Combine this with Napoleon Hill's Outwitting the Devil and you will become rich beyond measure!
